After setting their 53-man roster, the Denver Broncos did not sign any of their four undrafted free agent wide receivers to their 17-player practice squad.
Courtney Jackson joined the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad after not receiving an immediate offer from the Broncos, and Joaquin Davis, Kyrese Rowan and Jerjuan Newton remain free agents. They could soon get opportunities in Canada.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added Rowan and Newton to their 45-player negotiation list. If Rowan or Newton decides to play in the CFL, the Tiger-Cats will now have exclusive rights to negotiate with the WRs.
Elsewhere on the CFL front, the BC Lions added defensive backs Jaden Robinson and Micah Abraham to their negotiation list, the Edmonton Elks added defensive back Tanner McCalister, and the Saskatchewan Roughriders added pass rusher Andrew Farmer. The 2025 CFL season kicked off on June 5 and the championship get is set for Nov. 16.

Broncos coach Sean Payton said the practice squad (and active roster) is still “fluid,” and there could be a change or two over the next two weeks. So it’s possible that any of Davis, Rowan or Newton could end up back in Denver. For now, though, the Broncos are moving forward with A.T. Perry and Michael Bandy as their two practice squad WRs.
