The NFL world will be holding its breath all 2025 college football season long to see if Texas quarterback Arch Manning declares for the 2026 NFL Draft.

Since this will technically be his third season in Texas, Manning will be eligible for the 2026 NFL Draft after his latest season with the Longhorns is over.

Will he declare? That’s a mystery, as Manning recently said his future plans are still unsettled at this point.

He will still have eligibility at Texas if he wishes to play in college for another season, but any real talk of the latest Manning entering the NFL will have to wait until the Longhorns quarterback is good and ready for it.

When does Texas open the season?

The team plays the Ohio State Buckeyes on the road on Saturday, Aug. 30 at noon ET on Fox.
