With fantasy football season now fully upon us as the NFL regular season arrives, if you still haven’t had your draft, there are three Jacksonville Jaguars players to be cautious of, and they all play the same position.

That would be running backs Tank Bigsby, Travis Etienne, and Bhayshul Tuten.

Now, the reason for these players being on this list doesn’t have anything to do with their individual talents. Each has the ability to break a big play in their own way.

However, the sense is that Liam Coen, as he did in Tampa Bay, is going to use a committee approach out of the backfield. So from a fantasy football perspective, trying to gauge each week who might be the featured back could end up being quite challenging.

Based on training camp and the preseason, we can glean that Bigsby and Etienne will likely be the top two backs in terms of opportunities, but how playing time and touches break down between even those two is unclear right now.

Realistically, the matchup and in-game situations–and perhaps who has the hot hand–will dictate who sees the most carries or touches in a given week.

Coen even acknowledged recently that getting the four backs on the roster regular opportunities won’t be easy.

“We’re still right in the thick of it, honestly,” Liam Coen said of carrying four running backs. “I think that we’ve seen great things from all four of those guys, knowing that it’s going to be darn near impossible to have four with a jersey on game day. That’s the challenge that we have to work through over the next few weeks.”

With that said, this will be a run-centric offense under Coen, so there will be carries to go around, and with that comes fantasy points. However, just know that there may also be volatility that comes with this position group for the Jaguars as well.
