The Reds still wish to bring in Alexander Isak before that happens, of course. He’s their no.1 target – as he has been since before the window even opened.

Marc Guehi is another on the list. Crystal Palace appear willing to sell their captain but only for the right price. And likely only if they get a replacement in, too.
That’ll take a bit more patience on Liverpool’s part, then. But they’re also looking to get some sales done.
Harvey Elliott is one of those, and he’s consistently been linked with RB Leipzig. They’ve now got the money to push a deal through after selling Xavi Simons to Tottenham Hotspur.

Kostas Tsimikas to seal move away
Kostas Tsimikas is to join AS Roma on loan for the season. Gianluca Di Marzio has shared the latest, saying that the left-back is heading out to Italy in order to complete a medical and seal things.
This wasn’t really a deal Liverpool wanted to strike. All reports suggested they were after a permanent sale for Tsimikas, whose place in the squad was taken by Milos Kerkez.
Instead, they’ve settled for a temporary deal with Roma. Tsimikas was apparently in favour of this deal, which forced Liverpool’s hand somewhat given the lack of time remaining in the window.
