MID-MICHIGAN. (WILX) – The Detroit Lions have partnered with United Dairy of Michigan (UDIM) and Planet Fitness to help award three Mid-Michigan high school football or cheer programs with the Touchdown in Your Town Grant.
The Detroit Lions Touchdown in Your Town initiative helps provide, Michigan high school football and cheer programs in need with crucial equipment (Riddell), technology, apparel and/or grants funded by the Detroit Lions Foundation.
Five High school cheer and five High School football programs from around the entire state of Michigan were selected for the grant.
The following Mid-Michigan Schools that received the grant are:
Bath High School – cheer program (Clinton County)Springport High School – football program (Jackson County)Vandercook High School – cheer program (Jackson County)
The Touchdown in Your Town Grant has invested more than $800,000 since 2019.
