Is Furman’s Devin Hester Jr. related to NFL great Devin Hester?

Apparently NOT related to the Devin Hester the NFL Hall of Famer. This was hard to find.

Furman sophomore wide receiver Devin Hester Jr. turned heads on Saturday with a nifty kick return at home against William & Mary… but his name also sparked a bit of innocent confusion.

This Devin Hester Jr. is not the son of NFL Hall of Fame returner Devin Hester. Sure, we get where that might be tricky, but this is a different Devin Hester Jr. who returns kicks.

Apparently, the NFL Hall of Fame Devin Hester also has a son named Devin Hester Jr., but Furman‘s Devin Hester Jr. is not that Devin Hester Jr. This is a different Devin Hester Jr.

Again, there are two people named Devin Hester Jr. and the one at Furman is not the one you’ll see linked to former Chicago Bears great Devin Hester.

Welp, that settles that! Maybe this Devin Hester Jr. will make also it to the NFL one day?
