Lots of talent that didn’t hear their name called on draft weekend. A few UDFAs I expect to push for the 53 this summer:
• LB Shaun Dolac – Rams
• DB Jabbar Muhammad – Jags
• WR Xavier Restrepo – Titans
• TE Jake Briningstool – Chiefs
• ED Jared Ivey – Seahawks
• OT Hollin…

The Seattle Seahawks made waves in undrafted free agency following the 2025 NFL draft, adding a bunch of high-upside prospects to the offseason 90-man roster. One of the more well-known additions was former Ole Miss defensive linemen Jared Ivey. The Draft Network’s Ryan Fowler sees Ivey competing for a final roster spot in Seattle this offseason.
Ivey recorded 42 tackles (11 for loss) and seven sacks for the Rebels this past season en route to All-SEC honors. Ivey was extremely versatile, playing multiple positions across the defensive line. He filled spots at 4i, 6i, and five-technique. Mike Macdonald will appreciate that flexibility.
Ivey likely went undrafted because he tested poorly throughout the pre-draft process. The Suwanee, Georgia native ran a 5.15 40-yard dash, and leaped a 30.5 inch vertical and 9-foot-5 broad jump. Those were historically poor results, according to Relative Athletic Score (RAS).
Testing numbers don’t determine next-level success. It’s understandable why teams are concerned with Ivey’s athletic profile, leading to him going undrafted. But the tape reveals a competitive, versatile, productive player. Ivey will possess an opportunity to impress at Seahawks training camp while making a valiant push to make the roster in a deep defensive line room.
