The Tennessee Titans have a tough road ahead, traveling to Denver to take on the Broncos in their regular season opener.
The Titans enter the game as heavy road underdogs against the Broncos, but the players and coaching staff are preparing to shock the NFL. Behind rookie quarterback Cam Ward, the Titans are both confident and optimistic about their chances, despite knowing they are in for a challenge.

The Titans are also challenging Broncos head coach Sean Payton and his preparation for Ward. When asked about the task during his weekly press availability, he had an interesting answer.
“Good question. We do all of it. You have a limited exposure in the preseason with him. Then you would go back and look at his college tape at Miami just to get a feel for not only arm strength, but how does he handle pressure, how does he handle his own?” He said, “We do a pretty in-depth study. It’s pretty normal when you play teams early in the season maybe to not have all the information you might have when you play a team Week 8 or 9.”
The Broncos have one of the better defenses in football and should be able to dial up different looks in an attempt to confuse the young signal caller. But, even with that, it will be how Ward handles those challenges in his first NFL start that will make the difference.
