PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – Greg Wood doesn’t necessarily have a football team, but he knows what he likes.

Restaurants like Deckhand Social.
“They have got everything over here, man, from big TVs to a swimming pool,” said Wood.
While the season is exciting for fans, it serves as an opportunity for local restaurants and sports bars to attract customers during the slower part of the year.
Beef O’Brady’s on Hutchinson has already hosted several fantasy football drafts.
Even places with waterfront views are hoping their TV screens bring in die-hard fans.
“It is one of the main draws that we have here at Pineapple Willy’s. We try to do many things, but football is definitely going into the off-season for us,” said Philip Meintel, COO of Pineapple Willy’s.
The first NFL game of the season is on Thursday on WJHG.
