On Wednesday, the Tennessee Titans continued to shake up their offseason roster by re-signing one of their unrestricted free agents and saying goodbye to two others.
After inking defensive tackle James Lynch to a one-year deal, the Titans waived edge Kyron Johnson and wide receiver Tay Martin with injury designations.

Johnson was an early-season addition to the Titans’ practice squad in 2024 after being waived by the Pittsburgh Steelers at the end of training camp. Originally a sixth-round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2022 NFL draft, Johnson was not activated from the practice squad during the season and was signed to a futures contract in January.
Martin was also signed to a futures contract in January after spending most of 2024 on the Titans’ practice squad. He did see action in one game during the season, pulling in one ball for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Johnson and Martin will become unrestricted free agents eligible to sign with another franchise if they are not claimed off waivers.
