As the 2025 NFL season inches closer to starting, teams across the league and fans around the nation are getting ready for some football. The most popular professional sport in North America is set to have millions of people glued to their televisions and hundreds of thousands more standing in long lines at football stadiums across the nation, ready to cheer their favorite team (or boo the opponent).

The NFL season kicks off on Thursday, September 4, 2025, when the Dallas Cowboys travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to face the Super Bowl champion Eagles. Once the NFL Kickoff happens, 32 teams will be vying to do what Philadelphia did last year: take home the Lombardi Trophy.

To help the fanbases get ready, team merch has been flying off the shelves at retailers worldwide. Both online and brick-and-mortar shops are reporting a lot of excitement as folks flock to grab gear for their favorite team. That, of course, includes fans of the hometown Buffalo Bills.

Excitement in Buffalo has ratcheted up a notch since the Bills are among the eight teams that are part of the new NFL Rivalries promotion.

This Buffalo Bills Shirt For Sale Is Perfectly Wholesome

The Buffalo Bills, who have the best-looking Rivalries gear in the league, have been starting to make some of that merch available for sale. While there is tons of excitement for the new look Bills, there are some folks who think one Bills shirt in particular isn’t all that wholesome.

While those of us who live and work in Western New York know that B-lo is one of the local nicknames for Buffalo, it seems that some folks unfamiliar with our local vernacular think it means cocaine.

We can see someone might think the words B-LO covered in white Cold Front snow could actually mean blow.

We, of course, know that no member of the Buffalo Bills would ever endorse the use of an illicit drug.

If you want to get your hands on the Blow B-Lo Rivalries shirt, you can find it here on the Nike NFL Shop.
