Despite not always fielding great teams, the Minnesota Vikings have had some of the best players in the game since 2000. While creating their Quarter-Century team, Bleacher Report turned to Minnesota to field several players.

In total, five Vikings were named to the team. Three players were called to the offense, and two were named to the defense.

On offense, Randy Moss was named a first-team receiver. Running back Adrian Peterson and left guard Steve Hutchinson were named second-team at their respective positions.

Over on the defensive side, Kevin Williams was named first-team defensive tackle. Jared Allen was named second-team defensive end.

When Moss returned for his second stint with the Vikings in 2010, all five players were on the roster at the same time. Unfortunately, age was affecting Moss, Hutchinson, and Williams to the point where they were no longer what they once were, and the Vikings finished 6-10.

Still, it’s good to see these players get their due after spending their peaks in Minnesota. Williams is underrated, and his place on the list is justified, although he should be more widely recognized for his efforts.
