Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson believes the team has weapons at every position on offense, and that makes them a dangerous threat coming into the 2025 season.
With Caleb Williams at quarterback, D’Andre Swift at running back, a wide receiver quad of DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, Olamide Zaccheaus and rookie Luther Burden III, to go along with tight ends Cole Kmet and Colston Loveland, there’s plenty of talent for the Bears on offense.

During a recent interview with Kay Adams of “Up & Adams,” Johnson detailed why he feels the coaches will have a tough job in getting everyone the ball. The biggest takeaway from Johnson’s comments was that he’s used the same gameplan for the preseason the past four years, but it’s worth mentioning that he believes there will be a challenge to get all the playmakers their opportunities.
“It’s completely different personnel (than in Detroit),” Johnson said. “I think we have weapons in every room: running back, tight end, wide receiver. It’s going to be hard on us coaches. That’s what it really comes down to that way.”
Johnson noted that they didn’t show much in the preseason, for what they plan to bring on the offensive side this season. Johnson was hired to not only turn this franchise around, but there’s plenty of optimism he can make the Bears into an offensive juggernaut, and having weapons in every room will certainly help that.
