The Arizona Cardinals had the day off on Tuesday but made some roster moves on the practice squad. They now have a complete 17-man practice squad after cutting one player and signing two others.

They cut tackle Roy Mbaeteka, who held an international exemption.

Replacing him on the practice squad with the same international exemption is defensive lineman Denzel Daxon.

Daxon had a tryout with the Cardinals on Monday.

He is a 6-2, 320-pound Bahamian who spent all last year on the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad using their international exemption. He signed with them last offseason as an undrafted rookie out of Illinois. He played there in 2023 and started his college career at Ohio State from 2019-2022, so he is yet another former Buckeye on the team.

They also signed linebacker Jared Bartlett, who also had a tryout on Monday. He went undrafted out of Cincinnati this year. He is 6-2 and 238 pounds and signed originally with the New York Jets but was later cut and signed by the Green Bay Packers.
