Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson met with the media for his weekly availability and offered an update on the status of some of the players returning from injury.

With the return of both Sweat and Sneed, the Titans’ defense should receive a boost from the addition of two playmakers. While Sweat’s conditioning may still be in question, the fact that they are playing at altitude in Denver could come into play. But, even on a rotational basis, his presence should help anchor the middle of the line.

General manager Mike Borgonzi talked up the potential availability of Sneed during his post-cut-down press conference, so this should not come as a total surprise. His return should allow Wilson to call more pressure looks in an attempt to confuse Bo Nix and allow Jarvis Brownlee and Roger McCreary to focus on their match-ups.

Wilson also noted that both Quandre Diggs and rookie Kevin Winston Jr. should see action on Sunday. It was a big step forward for Winston, who missed all three preseason games nursing a sore knee as he recovers from ACL surgery.

Wilson did not mention newly signed veteran Kyzir White or any potential role, making that something to monitor as the week progresses.

The Titans will travel to Denver to take on the Broncos in their 2025 regular-season opener on Sunday.
