1. Older New Yorkers still searching for pharmacy alternatives weeks after Rite Aid closures
As the demand for medication increases as we age, the number of pharmacies to pick it up, is on the decline. With the recent closure of Rite Aid, many upstate communities have nowhere to turn since that was the only pharmacy in town for its customers. Mark Goshgarian follows up on how folks are dealing with the closure in neighborhoods that have now become pharmacy deserts.

6. Powerball jackpot rises to an estimated $1.3 billion after no winning ticket sold
The Powerball jackpot rose to an estimated $1.3 billion Monday night after the winning numbers failed to appear. The numbers drawn were 8, 23, 25, 40, 53 with the Powerball 5.

PWHL’s Walter Cup makes Western N.Y. trip with hometown champ
Minnesota Frost forward Katy Knoll enjoyed a successful Professional Women’s Hockey League rookie season, working her way from her native Amherst to hoisting the league’s Walter Cup after the Frost defeated the Ottawa Charge to win their second consecutive league crown.
Knoll recently brought the Walter Cup to Western New York.
