What’s happening to everybody? Chris Lee here for WREL and this year should be a better year for the Carolina Panthers. We’ll see if they can make that climb up last year, of course they were 5 and 12. This is what their schedule looks like week one. They are at the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now the last two times they started their season at the Jacksonville Jaguars, they ended up making it to the Super Bowl. I’m not saying that’s gonna happen this year, but it did happen in 2015 and also in 2003. Then they’re gonna be on the road again September 14th versus the Arizona Cardinals, a team that they beat in overtime towards the. End of the season last year. So could we be looking at two easy wins right? I won’t say easy, but quick wins for the Carolina Panthers. Then they’ll be at home for their home debut versus the Atlanta Falcons. This will be a big rivalry game for an in division opponent. Then they’re gonna head up to uh Foxborough, take on, uh, Drake May and the the Patriots, and remember, most of these you can watch on Fox 50. I wanna make sure that you remember that because this is where the home of the Carolina Panthers lies. I’ll be back home versus the Miami Dolphins and of course back home. Versus the Dallas Cowboys, will they have, uh, a certain player there on their roster at that certain time? We’ll have to see. Uh, then they’re gonna be at the Jets. That’s gonna be an interesting game. That’s another team that’s kind of rebuilding right now, new coach, uh, seeing what they’re gonna have, uh, for the Jets themselves back at home versus the Bills. I’m gonna circle this one as a potentially big game because this game I think is gonna be the first true test to show where the Panthers are. This is a legit Super Bowl contending team. If they can hang with the Bills, then you know they’re gonna go in the right direction. If they’re gonna get blown out by the Bills, then hey, we might have to have some questions about where the Carolina Panthers are. And of course they’re gonna have the Green Bay, then they’re gonna have the Saints at home, another big divisional game right there on November 9th back to Atlanta, watch that one on Fox 50 and then last year, no primetime games at all for the Carolina Panthers, OK? This year they’re gonna be on Monday Night Football, so that’s gonna be a big one there. Back at home versus uh the the Rams, a lot of former Rams players on the Panthers roster right now, so that will be an interesting one as well back at the Saints home versus uh the the Buccaneers and home versus uh the Seattle Seahawks and then back at the Buccaneers to end the season. Another thing I’m looking at. They have to wait 14 weeks for their buy. So what will be their level of attrition, what will be their level of health? We’ll find that out. Make sure you stay tuned at WREO, your official station for the Carolina Panthers all season long and all these games that you see right here will be on Fox 50.
