ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills will kick off their farewell season at Highmark Stadium on Sunday, and team officials are urging fans to plan ahead.
With construction underway on the new stadium across the street, fewer parking spaces will be available than in past years. The team is advising fans to carpool and make an advance parking plan before arriving.

Security procedures remain largely unchanged, though fans will notice new walkthrough metal detectors at the stadium gates.
Once inside, the team promises memorable experiences to mark the stadium’s final season. Andy Major, the Bills’ vice president of operations and guest experience, said the opening game will feature a drone-powered halftime show, commemorative coins from the coin toss available in the team store, and a special farewell logo patch on players’ jerseys.
“This first game is going to kick it off with a big huge halftime show with drones, and commemorative coins for the coin toss that fans can pick up at the team store, as well commemorative logo patch in the jerseys with the players,” Major said.
Major added that the Bills are working with Erie County on a plan to let fans take home pieces of the old stadium once the season ends. Items could include seats or portions of the turf.
