The New York Giants not only returned to the practice field on Wednesday ahead of their Week 1 regular-season opener, but they also hosted a series of defensive backs for workouts.
Among those in attendance was Keith Taylor, a fifth-round pick of the Carolina Panthers in the 2021 NFL draft.

Taylor, 26, has also spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he picked up a Super Bowl ring in 2023, before joining the Atlanta Falcons this summer. He was released as part of final cuts.
In 45 career games (five starts), Taylor has recorded 72 tackles (58 solo, one for a loss), one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and six passes defensed. He is also a skilled special teamer.
Along with Taylor, the Giants also worked out cornerback MJ Devonshire, a seventh-round pick of the Las Vegas Raiders in the 2024 NFL draft. He spent this summer with both the Panthers and Baltimore Ravens before being waived as part of final cuts.
Wrapping up the workouts were Shemar Bartholomew, Brandon Crossley, and Keena Garber.
None of the five were immediately signed.
