There’s new hope in Seattle as the team enters the 2025 NFL season with second-year head coach Mike Macdonald at the helm once again as they’ll kick off the year against their division rivals in the San Francisco 49ers.

In his first season, Macdonald and the Seahawks finished 10-7, narrowly missing the postseason. Among the team’s big moves in the offseason featured the signing of quarterback Sam Darnold to be the team’s hopeful franchise centerpiece for years to come.
