Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper has informed the team that he no longer has the desire to play football and intends to retire, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo reported.

Thursday’s surprising news puts a cap to Cooper’s NFL career after 10 seasons and ends his second stint with the Raiders after just a few weeks.

Cooper signed a one-year deal with Las Vegas near the end of August, reuniting with the franchise that selected him in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Cooper spent the first three and a half seasons of his career with the then-Oakland Raiders before stints with the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills.

The five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver finishes his career with 711 receptions for 10,033 yards with 64 touchdowns.

Around The NFL will have more on Cooper’s retirement soon.
