The weather for the Packers’ game on Sept. 7 will be vastly different than he rain-soaked loss to the Lions last year at Lambeau Field.
“For a home Packers game in September, you’re not going to get much better weather than this,” said Kurt Kotenberg, meteorologist for the National Weather Service Green Bay.

The Green Bay Packers take on the Detroit Lions at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 7 at Lambeau Field. This will be the first time the Packers open a season at home since 2018, and only the third time in 13 years.

What’s the weather forecast for Sunday in Green Bay?
The weather is expected to be mostly sunny Sept. 7, according to the National Weather Service Green Bay. Temperatures are expected to be around 60 degrees by noon, with temperatures reaching 63 during by kickoff.
