The Green Bay Packers made the biggest blockbuster move of the offseason trading for Dallas Cowboys superstar Micah Parsons. Green Bay traded two first round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark to Dallas in exchange for Parsons, a move that not only shook up the NFL but, more specifically, the NFC North.

As their bitter rival made a blockbuster move, the Chicago Bears now prepare for more fuel to the fire in the rivalry against Green Bay, especially considering the additions Chicago made on the offensive line. One of the biggest additions the Bears made was bringing in center Drew Dalman in free agency. Dalman, along with guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson, as well as the rest of the offensive line, will be responsible for stopping Parsons.

On Monday, Dalman was asked about Green Bay’s big trade and says it brings a challenge that he looks forward to embracing later this season.

“Great player and all that, so it’ll be a good challenge and everything,” Dalman said. “Honestly, right now, Ifeel like we’re so ‘one week at a time’ that that’s very much on the back burner and we’re focusedon Minnesota and so we’ll handle all those things when they come.”

Chicago will not face Green Bay until Week 14 when they travel up to Lambeau Field, a place where Caleb Williams led them to a victory last year in the final week of the 2024 season. There will be a lot of time before the two teams face one another, so they’ll both have a chance to get a long look at their roster before their first regular season matchup.
