The Pittsburgh Steelers are attempting to bolster their pass catchers, as former Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Rakim Jarrett was brought in for a visit.
On Friday, Penn Live’s Nick Farabaugh reported that Jarrett had visited with Pittsburgh — leading to speculation a potential practice squad signing following the release of veteran WR Robert Woods.
Signing with Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2023, Jarrett made the Buccaneers‘ 53-man roster as a rookie, playing in 20 games over the past two seasons until he was released this past August during the final wave of roster cuts.

At just 24 years old, Jarrett still has the potential to develop into a pivotal role in Pittsburgh’s offense while also alleviating the depth concerns the Steelers have at receiver.
