The Laurens Raiders dropped their third straight game to start the 2025 season with a 43-10 loss to the Belton-Honea Path Bears on Friday night at K.C. Hanna Stadium.

Laurens has been outscored 149-27 in losses to Hillcrest, Clinton and BHP.

The Raiders offense was better against the Bears, currently the top ranked team in AAA. Laurens accumulated 13 first downs, rushing for 58 yards and passing for 148 yards. BHP racked up 441 yards of total offense, 286 on the ground and 155 in the air.

Laurens was penalized three times for 25 yards. The Bears were flagged 17 times for 180 yards.

BHP got on the board first when Cam Robinson scored on a 12-yard touchdown run with 7:19 to play in the first quarter. On their next drive, Noah Thomas hit Tajeh Watson-Martin on a screen and he took it 73 yards for the score to give BHP a 14-0 lead.

Laurens scored their first points early in the second quarter when Brock Franklin hit a 32-yard field goal to narrow the margin to 14-3.

On the ensuing drive, Laurens quarterback Logan Bragg was intercepted by linebacker Ty Dubose, who returned it 20 yards for a pick-six. BHP led 21-3 at halftime.

After the break, BHP scored three touchdowns to put the game out of reach. The Raiders added their final score in the fourth quarter when Bragg connected with Travion Robinson, freshman-to-freshman, for a 34-yard scoring toss.

Bragg finished 21 for 35 passing for 148 yards, one touchdown and three INTs. Robinson had seven catches for 81 yards and one touchdown.

Laurens is 0-3 on the season and will host AC Flora next Friday night for homecoming at K.C. Hanna Stadium.
