  • April 27, 2025

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAW) – Upon the conclusion of the 2025 NFL Draft, Wisconsin tackle Jack Nelson and safety Hunter Wohler have found new homes within the seven-round craze.

Nelson became the first Wisconsin player selected, going in the seventh round (pick 218) to the Atlanta Falcons. At pick 232, Wohler stays in the Midwest with a selection to the Indianapolis Colts.

A pair of former Badgers also had their name called within the draft. Chimere Dike, who transferred to Florida, was selected by the Tennessee Titans at pick 103 in round four. Meanwhile, the Houston Texans took fellow Florida Gator and former Badger QB Graham Mertz in round six with the 197th pick.

Guard Joe Huber, who completed his career with Wisconsin, signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent.
