The 2025 NFL draft, which saw 13 former Georgia Bulldogs chosen by various teams. Defensive tackle Warren Brinson, a sixth-round pick by the Green Bay Packers, addressed reporters in his first media session being a member apart of the Packers.

Brinson mentioned that he has already thought of a name for the group of Dawgs in Green Bay: “The Pack Dawgs”.

The Packers have been known to select former Bulldogs in the draft. Over the years, they have selected defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt, defensive back Javon Bullard, linebacker Quay Walker and cornerback Eric Stokes, who is now with the Las Vegas Raiders. They also recently picked up wide receiver Mecole Hardman, center Trey Hill, tight end John Fitzpatrick and defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse in free agency after the draft.

The Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles have the most players from the University of Georgia of any team in the NFL. The Eagles and Packers have eight former Georgia players on their roster after the draft. The Eagles are the latest team to win a Super Bowl and did so with a lot of help from former Georgia players.
