Kansas City Chiefs rookie Josh Simmons made his regular-season debut against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday night and seems to have made a good impression on expert NFL analyst Brian Baldinger.

Though Baldinger made it clear that Simmons’ showing was imperfect, he lauded the rookie’s stout blocking that helped keep the Chargers’ vicious pass-rush at bay.
Take a look at Baldinger’s full breakdown of Simmons’ outing against Los Angeles:
Simmons joined the Chiefs as a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft and was touted as one of the most polished offensive linemen in his class.
If Baldinger’s assessment of Simmons’ performance is any indication, Kansas City’s coaching staff is sure to be thrilled with what they saw from Simmons in Week 1.
