The New York Jets are set to begin their umpteenth rebuild in earnest tomorrow when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers and their former starting QB Aaron Rodgers. But with the game just 24 hours away, one of their players is turning heads thanks to his wife.

On Friday, Jets Pro Bowl pass rusher Jermaine Johnson and his wife Hannah Brooke did their baby gender reveal announcement. In front of their friends and family, the two let off an explosion of blue powder to announce their baby will be a boy.

“AHHHHH YOU GUYS I CANNOT BELIEVE I’M GOING TO BE A BOY MOMMMMMYYYYYY 😭💙 Feeling so blessed and grateful for this chapter. We’re going to have a son, this is so surreal,” Hannah wrote on Instagram.

Who is Hannah Brooke?

While Jermaine Johnson may be a Pro Bowl pass rushers and someone the Jets will rely on heavily in 2025, Brooke has been building her own brand for years as a fitness and fashion influencers.

Brooke boasts nearly a half-million followers on Instagram alone where she frequently shares updates about her life with Johnson. She also shares some videos from her modeling career, which has also been extensive:

Who is Jermaine Johnson?

Johnson was the 26th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. The Jets traded up to get him in the first round of the draft and he quickly proved to be a good investment for the team.

As a rookie he was a situational pass rusher and special teams star but still mustered 29 tackles, three tackles for loss, five QB hits, a safety and 2.5 sacks.

2023 was his breakout year. Johnson had 7.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 16 QB hits, 55 total tackles, seven passes defended and a pick-six. For his efforts, he was voted to his first Pro Bowl.

Unfortunately, Johnson’s momentum was halted last year after he suffered a season-ending Achilles injury just a few weeks into the season.

If Johnson gets his career back on track in 2025, he’s likely facing a massive contract extension at the end of the season.

Now THAT would be a good way to celebrate a newborn son.
