The Buffalo Bills may have already addressed their several needs at wide receiver, but some former legends of the organization believe one more addition can’t hurt.
Buffalo brought in the likes of Elijah Moore, Joshua Palmer, and Laviska Shenault over the last few months of free agency to build out the rest of their receiver room. Those additions joined Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir to help bolster the entire group.

With Gabe Davis being released by the Jacksonville Jaguars, though, several of his former teammates with the Bills are pushing the franchise for a reunion at this time.
“Absolute tone setter in the locker room and on the field. PERFECT culture guy. Played hurt all last year, didn’t complain about it once… having a tough time wrapping my head around this one,” said center Mitch Morse.
Davis is a former fourth-round pick by Buffalo and developed into a strong second receiver in the offense. The Bills have their full collection of wideouts at this point, but could look to get further depth over the next few months.
That is at least what Eric Wood suggested.

“I would be in favor of bringing Gabe back to the #Bills,” said Wood in a post on X. “Coming off the injury he could take a prove it deal and he can carve out a role. Great blocker, great on ST, chemistry with Josh, and can make plays when needed.”
It’s hard to see the Bills bring in a player like Davis at this point, with limited cap space to their name right now. As things stand, though, the Bills may be open to a reunion if some of those veteran pickups don’t rise to the occasion, though.
