New York Giants football is back as they make the trip down I-95 on Sunday to take on the Washington Commanders in Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season.

Sunday marks the debut of QB Russell Wilson after he signed with the Giants in free agency this past offseason. Big Blue will also get to see their first look at No. 3 overall pick Abdul Carter in the regular season.

The Giants know it won’t be easy. They take on a Commanders team fresh off of a 12-5 season, their best performance since they won Super Bowl 26 in 1991 thanks to QB Jayden Daniels, who led Washington all the way to the NFC Championship Game in his rookie season enroute to winning the Offensive Rookie of the Year Award last year.
