Things got fiery from the get-go between the Eagles and Cowboys.
The first play of the game saw Philadelphia defensive lineman Jalen Carter shockingly spit on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, which led to his ejection from the rest of the contest.
The Cowboys responded with a touchdown followed by an Eagles score.
But after the Eagles’ touchdown, the two teams got into a brawl on the kickoff after Philly’s extra point.
Two players were tangled up during the play, which led to both teams fighting.
Multiple flags were thrown on the field, and both were handed to the Cowboys.
Helmets were even taken off during the tussle.
The penalties pushed the Cowboys back 12 yards, but the team still managed to score a touchdown in the drive.
But fans were still reacting to the division rivals’ feistiness in the early part of the game.
“These guys hate each other,” one wrote.
