The final injury report for the Minnesota Vikings is out, and there is a mixed bag in terms of the news it provides for the team.
On the positive side, offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw practiced in full for a second straight day, which leaves him questionable for Monday’s game against the Chicago Bears. After tearing his ACL and MCL in October of last year, his return for Week 1 would be monumental and speak to the work ethic he possesses. Another positive would be that linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel has been practicing all week and has no designation after missing most of training camp with a neck issue.

So for now, Van Ginkel and wide receiver Jalen Nailor are both off the injury report and will be available for the Vikings on Monday.
On the negative side of things, safety and defensive leader Harrison Smith may not be available. He has missed most of the preseason and training camp with a personal health issue, as described. While the specifics are being kept private, publicly, he has not been seen fully practicing yet. He is officially listed as doubtful for Monday Night.
Two players have been ruled out: defensive lineman Elijah Williams and running back Zavier Scott.
