The Bengals’ defense had several penalties, including two defensive pass-interference infractions and Trey Hendrickson’s roughing-the-passer call, during the Browns’ first scoring drive of the game.
Anthony started the season on injured reserve. He injured his hamstring during the team’s final NFL preseason game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts at Paycor Stadium.
Anthony would be eligible to return to action in NFL Week 5.
Anthony, a seventh-round pick in the 2024 NFL draft, played in 13 games for the Bengals during his rookie season.
