Josh Allen on expectations this season, AFC rivalries and married life
Josh Allen talks all things NFL including AFC rivalries, his mindset ahead of the season and his partnership with Snickers.
It’s been a long wait for this Sunday night.
The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens last faced off on Jan. 19 in the division round of the NFL playoffs. Buffalo was victorious on that night, narrowly beating the visiting Ravens, 27-25.
Mark Andrews’ drop stole the headlines, sending the Ravens to another early offseason. The Bills would follow suit a week later, with what has become a tradition of sorts with a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen would reignite that battle a couple weeks later, before Allen ultimately captured his first league MVP award. Both are still seeking that elusive championship ring, however.
Now both sides begin their quest to be the AFC team that punches their ticket to Super Bowl 60 in February on Sunday night under the lights in Buffalo. They’re locked and loaded, deserving favorites in a difficult conference.
One team will land the first punch in Week 1, but the knockout blow may not be until January. Which side makes the early statement? We’ll answer all of that and more on Sunday night.
USA TODAY Sports will provide live updates, highlights and more from Sunday Night Football.
