DENVER (KTRE) – Former Nacogdoches Dragon Brandon Jones finished second on the team in tackles and recovered a fumble in the Denver Broncos 20-12 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
It’s the fifth fumble recovery in Jones’ career, and second with Denver.
Early in the second quarter, Titans running back Tony Pollard ran up the middle for a two-yard pickup, Pollard was hit by Talanoa Hufanga and fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Jones at the Denver 32-yard line. Jones finished the game with seven tackles, including three solo.
The Broncos (1-0) travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts on Sep. 14.
