(WLUK) — Young football fans throughout Northeast Wisconsin have the chance to hone their skills, get active outdoors and have fun, all thanks to the Green Bay Packers.

The team is hosting numerous football outreach camps in communities across the state — including several in our region — in conjunction with the NFL Play 60 program.

Between 150-300 elementary school students will participate in each 45-minute camp. Kids will rotate through five drill stations: a relay race, kicking a ball, throwing a pass, leaping for a catch and diving for a touchdown.

The camps will take place in Waupaca, De Pere, Sussex, Rubicon, Wrightstown, Appleton and Titletown. Below is more information about the local camps:

Sept. 9 from 9-11 a.m. at Waupaca Learning Center ElementarySept. 16 from 10-11 a.m. at the Titletown football field in Ashwaubenon, featuring participants of GRIT 920, an adaptive fitness facility for all abilities and agesSept. 23 from 12-2 p.m. at Syble Hopp School in De PereSept. 30 from 2-3 p.m. at Wrightstown ElementaryOct. 7 from 1-3 p.m. at Richmond Elementary in Appleton

Packers players will assist with the Titletown and De Pere camps.

In the event of inclement weather, the camps may be canceled or postponed.
