Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is starting the 2025 NFL season off as a winner – on and off the field.

On Friday, Herbert led the Los Angeles Chargers to an upset win over the reigning AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs, winning that game 27-21 and looking very sharp in the effort. Hours later, he was spotted on a big date night with a huge celebrity.

Over the weekend, Herbert was spotted back in Los Angeles with singer-songwriter Madison Beer at his side for a date. Photos from The New York Post show Herbert dressed in a black T-shirt, dark jeans and white sneakers, while Beer wore a white shirt with dots and dark pants. Herbert held Beer’s hand as they exited the well-known LA hot spot “Delilah.”

Some of Herbert’s offensive linemen apparently joined him for the event too.

Herbert deserved a big date night to celebrate his big win. On Friday he went 25 of 34 for 318 yards and three touchdowns while adding another 32 yards on the ground in a win over the rival Chiefs in Brazil.

The win not only ended the Chiefs’ reign over terror over them, it has catapulted the Chargers into one of the leading positions to take the entire AFC conference.

Who is Madison Beer?

Beer is an American singer-songwriter and author who first rose to fame in 2012 when Justin Bieber shared her YouTube cover of Etta James’s “At Last.” She’s since built a pop/R&B career with the EP As She Pleases (2018), her debut album Life Support (2021), and the more retro-tinged sophomore set Silence Between Songs (2023). Beyond her solo work, Beer voices the character Evelynn in Riot Games’ virtual group K/DA, appearing on hits like “POP/STARS” and “MORE.”

Her profile now includes two GRAMMY nominations—Best Immersive Album for Silence Between Songs (66th GRAMMYs) and Best Dance Pop Recording for “Make You Mine” (67th)—and a bestselling memoir, The Half of It (2023), about coming of age in the spotlight and prioritizing mental health. Her official bio describes her as a platinum-selling, two-time GRAMMY-nominated artist whose writing often explores relationships and self-empowerment—themes that have helped her cultivate a devoted fan base.

On Instagram she has over 40 million followers. She does not post often though and does not have any photos featuring Herbert.

This was her most recent photo in late-June.

Nevertheless, Chargers fans are praising her for “unlocking” Herbert as he hopefully transitions from “great quarterback” to a potential “Super Bowl quarterback.”
