Trade speculation has been running rampant in the Steel City — as the well-respected Mike Florio has linked Miami Dolphins star WR Tyreek Hill to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Florio, the founder of NBC’s Pro Football Talk, speculated that Hill’s time with the Dolphins could be coming to an end following Miami’s blowout loss to the Indianapolis Colts — predicting that Pittsburgh, along with the Kansas City Chiefs, is one of two logical landing spots.

“There’s already chatter, in the aftermath of Sunday’s win over the Jets, that the all-in Steelers could go even more all-in by making a move for Hill,” Florio wrote. “Yes, Pittsburgh already has receiver DK Metcalf, who’s making $30 million per year on a five-year deal. But the Steelers don’t have a clear-cut No. 2. Hill would be 1b (if not, at times, 1a) to Metcalf.”

An offense featuring Calvin Austin III, Metcalf, and Hill — with Rodgers at the helm — would be more than enough to compete with the AFC’s top contenders. But whether the Dolphins would begin to shop their top wideout after one ugly loss to start the 2025 season is another story.
