Steelers vs. Seahawks picks against the spread

Tyler Dragon: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)

Aaron Rodgers played well in his Steelers debut. Sam Darnold had a costly fumble in his Seattle debut. T.J. Watt and company are going to contain the Seahawks offense.

Christopher Bumbaca: Seattle Seahawks (+3)

Two teams that want to run the ball but can’t really run the ball. Steelers with another too-close-to-call victory.

Jon Hoefling: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)

If the Seahawks couldn’t handle the 49ers abysmal rushing defense, they certainly won’t be able to get going against a stout Pittsburgh D-line.

Jordan Mendoza: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)

Aaron Rodgers may have turned the clock back on his career. The East Coast trip is too tough for Seattle as Pittsburgh win its third straight game over the Seahawks.

Lorenzo Reyes: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)

Pittsburgh’s defense let the Steelers down last week, but Seattle still has too many unknowns on that side of the ball, with Sam Darnold having an uneven debut. I think the Steelers, making their home opener, cover here comfortably.

Blake Schuster: Pittsburgh Steelers (-3)

A West Coast team playing a 1 p.m. ET kickoff is reason enough to take Pittsburgh. Seattle struggled more than I thought it would against the Niners last week and it might be a minute before the Seahawks have things figured out.
