Latest WR Updates
Drake London and Darnell Mooney are both practicing this week, despite shoulder injuries. London suffered his last Sunday, but his head coach Raheem Morris said he expects the team’s top receiver to suit up this week. Treat London as a low-end WR1 if he’s active. Mooney remains limited and his status is unknown. If he plays, he’ll be more of a risky flex until we can confirm he’s back to form.
Are we going to talk about the 49ers’ injuries in every rankings page? Sadly, the answer is yes. In addition to the new ailments for Brock Purdy and George Kittle, we still have Jauan Jennings working his way back from a shoulder issue. He began the week as a DNP, which doesn’t bode well for him playing on Sunday. If he’s active, he’ll be a volatile flex option at less than 100% and with Mac Jones under center. Ricky Pearsall is the only Niners wideout you can confidently put in your lineup this week and even he has a slightly lower projection with Jones starting.
