The Green Bay Packers open Week 2 of the 2025 NFL season in a “Thursday Night Football” matchup at home against the Washington Commanders.
The game is just minutes into the first quarter and they may be down their top wide receiver from a year ago.
Jayden Reed – who was dealing with a foot injury during practice this week – went down with a shoulder injury after making a catch deep down the right sideline.
Reed was slow to get up after making the catch in the end zone. He ultimately made his way to the sideline.
Reed led the Packers with 55 catches and 857 receiving yards and his six receiving touchdowns were second-most on the team.
