The Tennessee Titans were back on the field Thursday afternoon ahead of the team’s Week 2 home opener on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, and received some bad news.Â
While talking with the media at practice, starting right tackle JC Latham revealed that he will miss the game on Sunday as he recovers from the hip injury he aggravated against the Denver Broncos. Although the organization has not made this announcement, it appears that veteran offensive tackle Olisaemeka Udoh will get the start in place of Latham.Â
This is a significant blow to the rebuilt offensive line heading into a tough battle against the Rams, as the Titans prepare for another stout defense.Â
Other than the news on Latham, the remainder of the injury report stayed the same as it was on Wednesday, with Latham (hip), Quandre Diggs (hand), Kalel Mullings (ankle), and T’Vondre Sweat (ankle) all sitting out practice. L’Jarius Sneed (knee), Arden Key (pectoral), and Kevin Winston Jr. (hamstring) all limited.Â
All the other players went full and should be good to go for Sunday.Â
Here is the Titans’ full injury report for Week 2.
