A woman wearing a J.J. Watt Houston Texans jersey exited the Texans vs Los Angeles Rams NFL Week 1 game in Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 7, with a bloodied face, according to a video on social media.
Watt reacted to the video on social media, posting: “Alright, I need the story. What the hell happened here?”
That is indeed the question. The video Watt replied to on social media only showed the aftermath of the incident at the Rams’ SoFi Stadium.
There are other graphic videos of the altercation on social media as well, including one video that is over three minutes long and shows Rams and Texans fans fighting in the upper deck.
The video shows beer being spilled purposely and punches being thrown, as well as a lot of jersey grabbing. Women and men were involved in the altercation.

According to the New York Post, the woman that exited he game with the bloody face said she would pursue legal action against the Rams fans.
“Security just took my boyfriend back inside to retrieve my lost property,” the woman said in a video posted to X, according to the Post. “They left me out here with zero (expletive) anybody, no phone, no nothing. I have noth(ing) — I don’t know. I’m still bleeding from the altercation. I just want this documented for the attorneys going forward, thank you.”
The fight happened on the same day J.J. Watt made his debut as part of CBS Sports’ No. 2 NFL broadcasting team, where he serves as an analyst with play-by-play caller Ian Eagle.
They called the Pittsburgh Steelers vs New York Jets game in NFL Week 1.
