DETROIT, Mich. – As the Detroit Lions prepare for their 2025 home opener against the Chicago Bears this Sunday, Ford Field’s Sensory Room is returning for its third season.

The room helps to make the game day experience more inclusive for fans with autism, ADHD, sensory sensitivities, and anxiety.

The Sensory Room, operated in partnership with Hope Network’s Center for Autism, offers a quiet, supportive environment where guests can regulate, decompress, and rejoin the stadium experience at their own pace.

Staffed by trained Hope Network professionals, the room includes tools like noise-cancelling headphones, fidget kits, color-changing wall tiles, and sensory swings — all designed with therapeutic intent.

The room, which is located near Guest Services at Gate A, is open for every Lions home game and other large-scale events at Ford Field.

Hope Network expects more than 100 guests to utilize the room the season.
