The Chiefs hit the practice field on Friday afternoon, and Xavier Worthy was among the participants despite having a dislocated shoulder that was supposed to keep him out of the lineup for a few weeks. Even with his return to practice, Worthy is listed as doubtful for the Week 2 matchup.
Kansas City is thin on the outside, with Rashee Rice suspended for the first six games, and their second-year stud wide receiver, Worthy, was involved in a nasty collision with tight end Travis Kelce on the Chiefs‘ opening drive. The incident occurred when the two were running crossing routes and inadvertently ran into each other, with Worthy taking the worst of the blow.
Worthy, the Chiefs‘ first-round pick in 2024, had been expected to assume more responsibility in Rice’s absence.

Kansas City still has viable weapons in Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Tyquan Thornton, while Travis Kelce is still the top option in tight spots.
