There is some good news for young fans of the Buffalo Bills! The Bills will return back to Highmark Stadium in week three to play the Miami Dolphins for a Thursday Night Football, AFC East Division game. The Bills are off to a good start after their comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens in week one.

The season has started a little rough for the Miami Dolphins who were blown out in week one by the Indianapolis Colts.

No matter where you look in Western New York, you will find some sort of sign that the Bills Mafia is present and schools are no exception. In fact, you can make a case that the younger generation of fans could be the most intense! There is hardly a school day that goes by when you don’t see half of the students wearing a Josh Allen #17 jersey.

The Good News And Early Dismissal

According to a newsletter that was sent to parents in the Hamburg School District, “there is an early release this Thursday for the Bills game. Students will be released 20 minutes early”.

This happens every so often with the evening-weekday games in Orchard Park. There are some bus routes that go toward Highmark Stadium and the traffic will be heavy in the late afternoon. Early dismissal gives the buses and families a chance to beat the traffic and get students home safely.

Orchard Park Schools

According the Orchard Park Schools website and calendar, the PreK, Elementary and Middle School will have a half day and the High School will dismiss early

The Buffalo Bills will have to wait to get back to the comfort of home at Highmark Stadium as their schedule takes them on the road to play the New York Jets this Sunday afternoon in New Jersey.
