The Bruins have fallen on hard times, as coach Deshaun Foster’s club has started 0-2, with a brutal 43-10 home loss to Utah opening the season and a tough 30-23 loss to UNLV in their second contest. The loss to UNLV wasn’t as close as the score indicated, as they trailed 23-0 before halftime and 30-13 early in the fourth quarter before closing the gap. Penalties (14 for 129 yards) and turnovers (one fumble, one interception) were the difference, as UCLA outgained UNLV 428-351.
New Mexico started its season with a huge test, facing No. 14 Michigan at the Big House, but would fall 34-17. Their next contest built some positive momentum, as they defeated Idaho State 32-22, behind the strength of 215 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Scottre Humphrey scored two of those touchdowns as part of his 18-carry, 141-yard effort.
This is a great college football matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
