Carolina Panthers final injury report: Ruled out

*DL Turk Wharton (hamstring): DNP all three days

Questionable to play

*LT Ikem Ekwonu (illness): LIM all three days

Ekwonu has been recovering since undergoing an emergency appendectomy on Aug. 24. He did play in the season opener against the Jaguars.

After practice Friday, head coach Dave Canales said of Ekwonu’s energy level, “It was great. We just ramped him up every day and got him a few more reps each time. He finished off a great practice today, but again we have to just kind of still take this thing a day at a time to see how he wakes up tomorrow after accumulating a couple of days of work.”
