Seattle signed White to its practice squad Friday.
The Seahawks had to release him from their active roster Thursday to make room for cornerback Shaquill Griffin, but White is now back with the team as a member of the practice squad. Seattle is carrying only five wide receivers on its 53-man roster, so he could be on the short list for a practice-squad elevation for Week 2 and beyond.
